Manufactured using a carbon fiber filled material makes this receiver stronger and lighter than any other AR-308 lower on the market. This receiver weighs less than 6 ounces making it significantly lighter than even a standard AR15 lower. Bigger calibers does not have to mean more weight. These receivers are easy to build using standard AR15 Parts kit and requiring only the addition of the 308 Takedown pins and Bolt Catch. Our design uses a standard roll pin for the bolt catch in place of the typical screw in design.
The AR-308 series does not have a specific set of industry standard dimensions like the AR15 has. We recommend the Bear Creek Arsenal, Aero Precision, Head Down Products, JSE Surplus, and the PSA Gen II series for the best fit.

You cannot beat the value and weight for the price, but i am nervous to see how it will hold up, though it isn’t necessarily fragile. would I trust it with the strength of a metal one- no. But it gets the job done at less than half the cost. And on a budget rifle that’s adequate.

I ordered this lower trying to reduce the weight of my ar-10. Against everyone telling a polymer lower is not a good idea they have weak points and will break. I have put over 100 rounds through my rifle and I have not been disappointed at all. Only suggestion I make is to buy an anti walk pin kit for the trigger as it's a tight fit but still walks out a little. Other than that holding up great and works great.
