Tennessee Arms Company is proud to bring to the market our light-weight, incredibly strong, AR-15 style lower receiver.
Manufactured from a fiber-reinforced Nylon blend with extreme resiliency. Using our patent-pending technology, Marine-Grade Brass inserts are permanently molded into the receivers at the Grip Screw & Buffer Area. These metal threaded inserts increase durability without sacrificing weight savings of the composite bodies. Colors are injected throughout the receiver during molding thus eliminating the worry for a scratched or marred finish. The end result is a sturdy receiver that is light to carry without compromising functionality.
Sporting a redesigned bolt catch area, a repositioned buffer retainer, and all the upgrades from previous models, this design is optimal. Enhancements are from customer-expressed opinions that we valued & then turned back into our product. Our receivers are constructed to accept any quality mil-spec Lower Parts Kit. With an unmatched versatility for parts, customers are pleased when the builds are completed. Tennessee Arms Company is unceasing in our efforts to improve our design for our customers' future builds.
Our AR-15 has the ability to be modified to fit Fixed-Stock Tubes (A2). If you are aware that you will be using this type, please let us know and we will modify the lower for you before shipment. If you are in possession of your lower, and do not wish to send it back, it can be modified at home. .0625" (16th) needs to be taken off the back for the tube to engage the retainer. (We recommend a belt-sander).
ALL TN ARMS CO Products come with a lifetime guarantee. We stand behind our products 100%. We believe the finest way to show this is through impeccable customer service which includes a warranty that stands firm. We invented the hybrid lower receiver, and we work continuously to keep it second-to-none.
Federal law requires that you be 21 years or age or older to purchase a stripped receiver or frame. Even if a frame or receiver can only be made into a long gun (rifle or shotgun), it is still a frame or receiver not a handgun or long gun. However, they still are "firearms" by definition, and subject to the same GCA limitations as any other firearms.

"I honestly can't find any sort of practical test that would harm this receiver or make it in any way inferior to an aluminum one."- Tom @ Apex Gunsmithing
This lower has met our expectations for a lightweight product that allows our customers to reduce weight across the board. We have around 300 rounds through it and no issues at all. No unreasonable fitting on the lower parts with this receiver. Very good product and our customers already want to order more of them. Great job!
Loved it all parts fit looks good function great
Lower was perfect. Match to Magpul FDE was spot on. Tolerances were tight everything fit like a glove. Matched with a Bushmaster polymer upper. Highly recommend these lowers. Lower parts kit I used came from Palmetto. Will purchase another lower in the future!
I've purchased this lower in order to built the lightest AR possible. Installing the innards is as easy as on a aluminum one. The difference once build is the weight of it. Put it together with a polymer upper and a pencil barrel and voila!! a super light animal!!
Great Lightweight Lower
nice M16 cut stripped lower. thanks
very well made and light weight. front pivot hole is very tight but not anything I get stressed about. Would purchase again.
This lower would survive Thanos''s snap with no problem. Fit and finish are outstanding. Also, I'm' pretty sure my peen grew about .5" since I build one of these lowers.
I got 2 lowers from Tennessee Arms in 5.56. They arrived quick even with the them being slammed and the website saying that it could take 2 to 3 weeks fir shipping. At first glance when recieved they were perfectly made and had some wierd discoloration where they had stamped the caliber and company logo. Took care of that with some old Colgate toothpaste. All holes were perfect and there was no burs anywhere on the lower. I set it up on my vise abd started ensambly. Buffer tube went in with no problem just like the pistol grip and the trigger group and such. Nothing different from any other lower. And it matches fine with my upper receiver. Took both to the range for the first time ,one in 300 Blackout and the other .223 Wylde. Put about 200 rounds through each lower and they perform almost without a hitch. Both lowers i had one of my trigger pins go back into the lower. Solved with some anti walking pins and after another 200 rounds no problem whatsoever. They are pretty much new so i will probably do another review after i had them for a while and put some more lead downrange. As for right now I love how lightweight my rifles are and i can see myself getting a couple more for future builds.
