Does everything it needs to. These have been VERY tight with Aero uppers and a work of warning, the metal insert for the serial number does not allow a geissele trigger to work properly. I will need to do some modifications to the back to get it to work. Other than those 2 things, very happy with TNarmsco at every level!
I have sold these to several customers and each of them has had nothing but great reviews on these lowers. They are top of the line, about half the weight of a normal lower and very cost effective.
When I receive my AR10 stripped lower it looked alright.
As I was putting it together I noticed a few things that were wrong. 1-The foward assist hole to put the pin in was way to small,I had to use a tap screw, 2- The mag release on the lower was so wide that I was unable tighten the screw flush with the release button. 3- The rear release ident-pin hole was drilled to close to the edge causing it to extend out. I was unable to break the weapon down. I had to take the pistol grip off to get the ident-pin out and was unable get the upper off. I believe you have a grate product but these problems need to be corrected. If there is anything you can do rectify this problem it would be greatly appreciated. I have photos of the problems I will try to attach them. Thanks God bless

A representative from TAC has reached out to address concerns.
I purchased this lower for a customer, it is by far the best lower on the market, for the money, stength and weight. I highly recommend this lower and all the others here .
Well let me start by saying if you wanna start a build plan on three weeks to be shipped out. Out of the box it's really nice! Magazine release didn't fit, was really tight had to smooth it out to move freely. The safety detent hole is just slightly over sized made the safety sector really sloppy. But my upper fit really tight which I like.
I am an experienced rifle builder, Army veteran, and shooter. I have build many rifles on aluminum lowers and several on polymer lowers. I chose this lower based on reviews and color. I was truly impressed with the solid feel and the tolerances for parts are precise and accurate. I will be buying more. If the most popular pistols in the world, Glock, S&W, Springfield Armory, FN, SIG, Ruger, etc, are using polymer frames, then it is time we accepted that polymer lower rifles are the future.
I was pleased overall with the ar-15 lower I purchased last year, but the ar 308 reciever takes the polymer reciever to a higher level of precision. Very impressed with the TN Arms product
Hope you keep making this lower
Overall this is a great product, and I'm very satisfied with the purchase. The polymer feels solid and fit great with my smooth side DPMS upper. The only issue I had was that some of the polymer ran onto the threads for the receiver extension, and I had to scrape it off in order to get the buffer tube to screw in. Would definitely buy another one.
I set it next to a aluminum lower and didn't see any difference beside the weight. All the holes for the LPK are where they need to. There are no casting marks or imperfections. Will definitely come back for my next build
I can't brag on these guys and gals enough. In short you guys and gals rock. Shut up and take my money
Very Solid receiver. I was surprised of the quality and finish.
Got this lower last week, looked really nice everything went together nice, except the front take down pin, I could not use my tool for putting the spring and detent pin in but I got it after a few try's. put a upper I just built on took range and put 500 rounds down range so far, ran like a champ , I liked it so much I order 2 more.
This lower is flawless. Went together easily. Lightweight build in 338 federal. Outstanding. Will buy another in the future.
This 308 lower much better than any I've used. No flaws evident and assembled with ease. I have no doubt it will last longer than I'll be able to shoot it. Thanks for a great product at a really good price
Received it yesterday, started to work on it that same day
The finish and final product were more than I expected, excellent quality
Really glad to receive my lower. Aside from a couple of small molding blemishes, it's fantastic. I can't wait to complete my build and see how it performs. Thanks for the excellent product.
The fit with black rain style upper is snug but small gap near radius so buffer tube. Little hard putting in roll pin for bolt catch but got it done.
This is, by far, way better built than the .223 TN Arms polymer lower.
I have two of these on DPMS uppers. One on a high profile and the other on the low profile version, both fit snug and nice. Tested the lowers with multiple drop in triggers (Velocity, POF, Rise, Timney) and with a mil-spec trigger, all work perfectly. I only have DPMS magazines, and they drop nicely from the receiver. DPMS lower parts kit dropped in it nicely, only difference was on the bolt catch pin, which this lower uses a .223 pin. Just for fun, I threw my SlideFire stock in it and it was a blast, an expensive one.
All I can say is this lower performs just as good as my DPMS lower, but lighter. This thing is a beast!!! Waiting for the clear version, if ever available.
First thoughts first: holy crap this thing is light. This lower comes in at 6.2 ounces, my DPMS lower comes in at 12.3. Yes, I ended up taking it apart just to find out. The downside is it makes my already-kind of front-heavy gun, even more so..
Fit and finish: in comparing the fit of the AR308 lower and the LR308 lower to the DPMS slick side upper I use is almost identical. There is a little play, but it's very minimal. It doesn't impact accuracy anyway. I did need to clean out the detent hole for the pivot detent (there was some nylon burrs that were annoying me), and I needed to trim down the detent spring for the takedown pin. Other than that modification to the LPK, the mag release and bolt catch are identical to what you'd use on a AR15. I have a Velocity 3lb trigger that I dropped in there, I actually have more trigger clearance on the AR308 than what I have on the DPMS lower. It's nice to have that clearance, particularly as I wear gloves during winter hunting.
I had also ordered a black AR15 lower from these guys, that arrived at the same time. It's a subjective opinion, but I feel like the AR308 was "cleaner" in terms of seams and whatnot. I could see minor scuffing on the AR308 from where they were (I assume) checking tolerances and cleaning out burrs, but nothing that I couldn't rub off.
The lower currently retails on their site for $96, and I feel like that's a phenomenal price, especially when compared to the cost of aluminum 308 lowers. If you were waiting to pull the trigger on buying one until someone actually had their hands on one to review, consider this a massive 5-star endorsement of it.
I have not assembled a complete rifle with the lower yet but the quality of the lower receiver definitely meets and exceeds all expectations. It is evident that a lot of time and effort was put into the design and mold process of these lowers. Yes the wait was long considering when I pre-ordered but it does not influence my review of the actual product itself. Thank you TNArms for taking the time to get it right.
I wish I was typing this up to tell everyone what an amazing product this is. But I can't because like many other people, I have been waiting nearly a year for it to show up and it still hasn't. Initially this was supposed to be "ready to ship" by the end of the first quarter this year. I did receive an email offering a free engraving for being patient a few weeks after the first quarter came and went... But no explanation or expectation of a new shipping date. I called in late August and was told they were in production and would be ready to ship the later half of October. That came and went. No lower; no email update; nothing. I called on Nov 2 and was told that they would be shipped by the fifteenth at the latest. Still nothing.
I'm not writing this because I'm some impatient jerk. My position is that after building several of your ar15 lowers and being very, very satisfied with your product, I was excited to see the 308 pattern being offered. I am expecting the same great quality as the ar15 version. I know several people who ordered receivers from you folks after handling mine, and because I raved about the quality, lifetime warranty, and so on. But that is where it stops. TN Arm's lack of customer service and communication has turned this loyal enthusiast into another disappointed customer.
Additionally the fact that you all had several more discount promotions on the .308 receiver after the pre-sale ended KNOWING the parts weren't ready for deliveries is shameful.
